Our Story
Every kid has a dream and Patrick Maher was no exception. He dreamed of having his own ice cream shop.
But as he grew up, a more traditional form of the American Dream took over: a good secure job and a family of his own. Still, that didn’t mean the demise of his sweet tooth. Every weekend he would set off for a Daddy Time adventure with his boys—fishing, ball games, and so on—and every outing would conclude with…ice cream. On one such outing, while savoring their sweet treat, Patrick told his sons, “One day we’ll have our own ice cream shop.”
In 2020, when lay-offs ended Patrick’s 23 years in the corporate world, he pondered his next steps. Among all the “sensible” options was a persistent, crazy one: opening that ice cream shop of his dreams. Someday was now. Creamery Connection was born.
We’re the Mahers!
You’ll see Patrick in the shop, scooping up joy on the daily. His favorite ice cream is Buttery Salted Caramel. Jess owns a real estate sales team at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty in Monkton. She orders Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough every time. Garrett attends Hereford Middle and loves golf, baseball and hockey. He’s partial to milkshakes. Rory attends Jacksonville Elementary and is into all things tech. His favorite flavor is Black Raspberry.
